河瀬満織物とミュシャ

河瀬満織物（かわせまんおりもの）は、江戸時代後期の嘉永五年（1852年）創業、京都西陣織の老舗です。創業100年以上の歴史を持つ企業として京都府から「京の老舗」に認定され、伝統を守りながらも現代に合う帯づくりに挑戦しています。
アルフォンス・ミュシャは、19世紀末からのアール・ヌーヴォーの代表的画家であり、しなやかな曲線と美しい色彩が特徴で、異国趣味や古典古代を思わせる装飾様式のほか、日本など東洋の美術の要素もみられます。

Kawase Mitsuru Textiles and Alphonse Mucha

Kawase Mitsuru Textiles, founded in 1852 (late Edo period), is a long-established Nishijin weaving house in Kyoto. Recognized by Kyoto Prefecture as a “Traditional Kyoto Company” for its history of over a century, it continues to preserve its rich heritage while creating obi that resonate with modern sensibilities.

Alphonse Mucha, a leading artist of the late 19th-century Art Nouveau movement, is renowned for his graceful curves, vibrant colors, and decorative style inspired by exotic motifs, classical antiquity, and elements of Eastern art, including Japanese aesthetics.
